We are proud to present the following online competitions for SALF 2026, each designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and scientific understanding through the theme “Saralikaran se Sashaktikaran”
Cosmo Collage: Space Science & Astronomy Collage Challenge – Create a concept-driven collage that simplifies complex ideas in space science, governance, and innovation through powerful visual storytelling.
Poetry Poster Design Competition – Blend original poetry with artistic visuals to express ideas of empowerment, curiosity, and the evolving space ecosystem.
Galactic Bookmarks: Cosmic Creations – Design creative, space-inspired bookmarks that promote reading, imagination, and scientific curiosity.
Astro Visions: Scientific Art Interpretation Challenge – Develop scientifically accurate artwork inspired by real astronomical phenomena, space missions, or technological advancements.
Cosmic Satire: Space Science Meme Making Challenge – Use humor and creativity to simplify complex space science concepts and governance reforms through original memes.
We have successfully organized various programs such as Astronomy fairs and competitions with the objective to create enthusiasm among people and inculcate scientific temper among the masses.
Science outreach has been conducted at popular locations
SPACE has conducted Heritage Walk with Archaelogical Survey of India at Jantar Mantar
Science Activities were conducted at public event ‘Raahgiri’ where the public participated with great enthusiasm.
In 2022, SPACE conducted an online quiz with iAstronomer students and a webinar where eminent speakers like Prof. (Dr.) Dipankar Banerjee, Director, ARIES observatory and Prof. (Dr.) PrajvalShastri Adjunct Professor, ICRAR, Australia was invited.https://youtu.be/WIgfykPHSPg
