We provide Planetarium Education™(PE) K12 to schools across India. It is a holistic concept that connects the students with the night sky. Under PE a student from a school K12 can have up to four exposures of planetarium shows in each academic year. Unlike a city’s fixed public planetarium, which may not be even digital, PE is based on the pedagogical efficacy of Digisky™ full dome mobile or fixed planetarium and provides a solution to the inherent impediments associated with astronomy teaching.
It is a companion to STEM Education and has been designed to implement astronomy in the Indian school system K12 through readymade, class-wise appropriate and progressive polar planetarium shows developed in Indian ethos. These shows are related to various astronomical sky simulation scenarios and bring stars to the light polluted starless cities.
