The Planetarium show is a unique theatre and cinema experience that offers a virtual journey through the night sky. It connects students with the beauty of celestial objects and constellations through rich storytelling and stunning visual simulation.
SPACE offers Planetarium EducationTM (PE) K12 to schools all across India. It’s a comprehensive program that helps students connect with the night sky. With PE, students from K-12 can experience up to four planetarium shows every academic year. Unlike a city’s fixed public planetarium, which might not even be digital, PE utilizes the pedagogical effectiveness of the DigiskyTM full dome mobile or fixed planetarium, providing a solution to the inherent obstacles connected with teaching astronomy.
It is a companion to STEM education and has been designed to implement astronomy in the Indian school system K-12 through ready-made, class-wise appropriate, and progressive polar planetarium shows developed in Indian ethos. These shows are related to various astronomical sky simulation scenarios and bring stars to the light-polluted, starless cities.
We can provide four shows for each class group of pre nursery-nursery, Class I-II, Class III-V, Class VI-VIII and Class IX-XII, which are designed specific to their age. Duration of shows ranges from 20 to 30 minutes and is available in English and Hinglish.
The cost of the Space Mobile Planetarium varies based on the number of shows selected by the school and also on the number of students enrolled for the program. Contact Us To Book
