SPACE Explorers Workshops are specialized astronomy and space science theme-based workshops that are age-group-specific and can be conducted at schools, educational institutes, and resident welfare associations, i.e., for people from all walks of life. It aims to make students aware of astronomy, its presence, and its relevance in our day-to-day lives. They are designed in a way to make students understand concepts in books and apply them to derive numbers out of nature and understand the workings of the universe.
The workshops are fun exercises emphasizing group activities and enabling students to participate in an informal setting. They create a platform to learn science, astronomy, geography, physics, history, and other subjects through experimentation, practical application, and activities. Every participant gets a session-based kit, an astronomy booklet, and a participation certificate at the end of the workshop. The workshops are based on the different categories mentioned below:
We have Evening Observation Sessions of different levels to involve students of various grades during the evening time in the school itself. Evening Observations are focussed on observing the Moon and Planets through the telescope and a brief sky tour. We do not have Star Gazing sessions under workshops, but on request we can design one.
